Rainbow Six Siege Creators and Core Member to Start a New Project

Huge changes are coming to Rainbow Six Siege’s development team! The creative director, Xavier Marquis and brand director, Alexandre Remy, as well as, a few core members are going to start a new project. Most of the development team of the game will be unchanged which will now be led by game director Leroy Athanassoff. Right now we have no idea what the new project is all about, but we are sure that Rainbow Six Siege “is here to stay”.


Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reaches $1 Billion in Sales

Out of all the Call of Duty games, it seems like Modern Warfare is the most popular. According to Activision, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was able to reach $1 billion USD, having more than 500 million multiplayer hours logged as well as almost 300 million multiplayer matches. Google Stadia Acquires Typhoon Studios

Developer Typhoon Studios had been acquired by Google in order to help with the company’s internal game development plan. Players will be able to control powerful mechs in order to fight off an alien invasion. The levels in the game are procedurally-generated which means that you will not go through the same playthrough twice. Halo Infinite Wishes its Community ‘Happy Halodays’

A new concept art had been shared for Halo Infinite in order to celebrate the ‘Halodays’. 343 Industries released the pair of concept art along with a lengthy post to wish the community ‘happy halodays’. Halo Infinite had first been announced during E3 2018 and was later announced to be the launch title for the Xbox Series X during this year’s E3. Both Halo Infinite and the Xbox Series X are scheduled to launch by the Holidays of 2020.


New Temtem Trailer Features Starter Picks

Crema and Humble Bundle shared a new trailer for their upcoming Pokemon-like game Temtem. The difference is that Temtem is a massively multiplayer online game. The new trailer highlights the Starter Picks of the game. We get to see three which are Crystle who is a lizard temtem, Smazee a monkey-like temtem and Houchic a fairy-like temtem. After picking your starting temtem, you will be able to explore the six islands of the archipelago as a temtem trainer. Temtem is set to launch on January 21, 2020.


Slitherine Shares First Screenshots for Distant Worlds 2

After four years in development, we finally get our first glimpse of Distant Worlds 2. Publisher Slitherine Software has shared the first screenshots for the game and gave a few more details. We now know that the sequel will make use of detailed 3D models and a new 64-bit engine. Ship slots are now also divided into different categories, giving an extra layer of detail to designing ships.


Rainbow Six Siege Introduces Upcoming Operators in Anime Trailer

Ubisoft has released an anime trailer showcasing the upcoming operators for Operation Shifting Tides. These operators, unlike all those in the game already, are not part of any real-world special forces. Instead, they hail from Nighthaven, a fictional mercenary group based in India. These operators seem to be a precursor to Ubisoft’s intention to provide the game more of a narrative in 2020. The trailer also showcased new premium gear coming with the update.


Denuvo has been Removed from Resident Evil 2

Good news for those who skipped the Resident Evil 2 remake because it made use of the infamous Denuvo Anti-Tamper DRM. Capcom has stripped the GOTY contender of Denuvo as of December 18th. This move also removes the “five different PC within a day machine activation limit.” Publishers usually make use of Denuvo to try and delay pirates from cracking the game at launch. However, Resident Evil 2 was still cracked within its launch week. Capcom hasn’t confirmed yet if the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake will feature Denuvo at launch as well.

WoW Classic Server Transfers Now Available

Blizzard is now allowing server transfers for World of Warcraft Classic characters so players can play with their friends. There are a few caveats to remember, though. First, server transfers can only be done 90-days after your last one. This means you’ll need to be sure you want to transfer servers as you’ll need to wait 3 months before you can do it again. Also, it’ll cost you US$25 each time you move a character, and there’s a gold transfer limit depending on the level of your character.


Rockstar’s Christmas Events are Here for GTA Online and Red Dead Online

Rockstar has started the Christmas events of the Online modes of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2. We get to see snow and the holiday feels are all around. In GTA Online, if you log in on December 24th, you will get a Firework launcher and a Green Reindeer Light Bodysuit. If you log in on the 25th there are more gifts waiting. In Red Dead Online, logging in between the 23rd and the 25th will give players a chest of goodies consisting of food, ammo and many more.

World of Warcraft Battle of Azeroth Visions of N’Zoth Announced

The last big update for World of Warcraft Battle of Azeroth has been announced. The update is called Visions of N’Zoth and it will be coming on January 14, 2020. Blizzard revealed that Visions of N’Zoth will come with new Assaults, Horrific Visions, and two new Allied Races which are the Horde’s vulpera and the Alliance’s mechagnomes. There will also be a 12-boss raid that is “set in the Void-shrouded heart of the ancient Black Empire” the final boss being N’Zoth.


New Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Update Brings Fixes to Cal Kestis

A new patch had been made available by Respawn Entertainment for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The update comes with fixes for a number of issues regarding combat, traversal and so much more. This is just a small patch but it is important as the changes help the protagonist Cal Kestis to be more responsive in combat. Game Freak is celebrating the holidays in a unique way for Pokemon Sword and Shield. They are placing extra-large Delibirds in the Wild Area’s Max Raid Battles. Evil Geniuses was able to bag one of the spots in the One Esports World Pro Invitational Singapore grand finals. EG took on Gambit Esports, the only team that was able to have a win against them marring their otherwise flawless record. EG won 2-0 against Gambit this time. It looks like Gambit underperformed during the matches as both ended in just five minutes. WWE 2K20 Patch 1.06 is Huge at 25 GB

A huge update is finally coming to WWE 2K20. The game released back in October and it had a lot of glitches. The new update is patch 1.06 and it is a whopping 25 GB in size. A notable part of the patch is that it comes with the custom championships. This create-a-champion feature had been available in previous WWE 2K games but this time it gave developers some problems. Stay Out Holiday Event Will Start on December 23rd

The post-apocalyptic free-to-play game from Mobile Technologies called Stay Out is having a winter wonderland of holiday events. The game is still in Early Access and with the holiday event players can enjoy roaming around as a huge cookie in Gingerbread Madness. Players can also visit the all-new “N-Town” for a snow fort competition. The event will be available starting December 23 and will run through the end of January 2020.


Detroit: Become Human PC Update Out Now

The very first PC patch for Detroit: Become Human has been launched by Quantic Dream. The patch comes with an overall improvement of the game’s stability by addressing the various crashes. The update was also able to resolve the frequent crashes that occur during the Chapter “Fugitives”.
