ZEvent 2024: Twitch’s Iconic Charity Event Returns After 1-Year Break

With a great surprise the ZEvent returns once again, the famous charity event themed around video games from the French-speaking community. An event that skipped 2023 and is back this year with a large number of streamers, both live and remote. An event dedicated to charity but also full of videogame themed fun.

ZEvent – What it is, Dates, and How to Follow the Event

ZEvent is a charity project born in 2016 by the two French streamers ZeratoR and Dach, managing to raise over 30 million euros for charity over the editions. With the announcement on 4th August 2024, ZEvent returns after taking a year off. Offering a mixed format introduced with the 2022 edition during the pandemic. The event dates are:

• September 5 – Opening concert live from the Zénith Sud in Montpellier.
• From September 6 to 8 – Livestream starting at 18:00 CEST on the official channel.
• ZEvent official Twitch channel

ZEvent – Who Will Participate and Where the Charity Proceeds Will Go

ZEvent presents a fantastic opportunity to see your favorite streamers participate in the event. We’re talking about at least 30 streamers live and over 100 remotely, with names like ZeratoR, Etoiles, and Kameto as the front line of the event. As for the charities, this edition’s proceeds will be distributed to 5 associations that cover various missions and aspects, namely:

• Secours Populaire
• Cop1 Étudiants
• Chapitre 2
• Bureaux du Cœur
• Solidarité Paysans

Additionally, among the events, the return of Z/Place has also been confirmed, similar to r/place, along with ZEvent Plays Pokémon, where the community can interact and decide the commands and outcome of a Pokémon game run. Unfolding hilarious reactions and outcomes.

ZEvent – How to Participate in Donations

Users will be able to actively participate in donations from home by donating during the livestream. But also by purchasing one or more ZEvent-branded items from the merchandise shop. The shop will appear among the Twitch channel banners of ZEvent when the event starts on September 5. An unmissable event for the French-speaking community, who can have fun in the company of their favorite streamers while doing good through video games.
