XBOX GAME PASS SUBSCRIPTIONS RISE

Microsoft continues to see success with its Xbox Game Pass as subscriptions for PC Game Pass increased by 159% over last year.

The success of the PC Game Pass comes as Microsoft saw Xbox hardware sales increase by 13%, and its Xbox division generated $3.59 billion this last fiscal year.

Over 20 million people also streamed games on Xbox Cloud Gaming, a jump of 10 million over last year.

Microsoft saw Xbox Game Pass subscriptions generate $2.9 billion this last year, almost 20% of the total Xbox revenue.

It’s good news for Microsoft and Xbox as the company continues to push through the $69 billion deal for Activision Blizzard.
