WoW Season of Discovery Phase 8: Release Date
With Season of Discovery Phase 7 coming to an end, starting on January 29, 2025, WoW fans are eager to discover what the new Phase has in store. Phase 8, launching on April 8, 2025, will include the following:
- New Avalon Content: Scarlet Enclave Quests and Professions from April 8, 2025
- Scarlet Enclave Raid from April 10, 2025, 1:00 pm PDT / 4:00 pm EDT / 10:00 pm CEST
Where we will need to sneak into the city of New Avalon in the Scarlet Enclave, earning the respect of its inhabitants and unlocking new recipes and rewards.
Season of Discovery continues with Phase 8 launching on April 8, followed by the all-new Scarlet Enclave raid launching on April 10 at 1:00 pm PDT!

WoW: What’s in Store for Season of Discovery Phase 8
With the update on April 8, we will be introduced to New Avalon. We will start the new main quest from Light’s Hope Chapel, speaking with Leonid Barthalomew the Revered. To sneak into New Avalon, we will need to complete the recipe for the Scarlet Military set. This introduces us to the changes and additions to the Professions in Phase 8, which include:
- Engineering: New Schematics as rewards for 6 new Quests
- Tailoring: 8 New recipes for the Scarlet Uniform and 2 Patterns as rewards from Quests.
- Blacksmith: 8 New Recipes
- Leatherworking: 16 New Recipes
The update will feature a Legendary variant of the Corrupted Ashbringer on April 10 in a new Questline for Warriors, Hunters, and Paladins. As well as the new Scarlet Enclave Raid with party sizes ranging from 20 to 40 players.

Season of Discovery Phase 8 seems to be the final update of SoD. This is the last chance to try SoD, an experiment that has been extremely appreciated by WoW fans.
