WoW Cataclysm Classic
For the beloved WoW Classic, the Cataclysm Classic update arrives on May 21st as a free update. In this update, you’ve defeated the undead armies of the Lich King, ending Arthas’s rule. But now, a new enemy rises. Deathwing, the World Breaker, a dragon with fiery breath and a body of steel, emerges onto the scene.
With the appearance of Deathwing, much has changed in the world. Now, you’ll find seven new zones and three new starting times for the two new races, Goblins and Worgen. The maximum level has also been raised to level 85. There are also seven new dungeons and four new cataclysmic raids where you can prove your skills.
Elemental planes throughout Azeroth have been damaged, causing chaotic elementals to flood into the world. They must be stopped! In the new areas, you’ll find plenty of new things to explore. The update is set to release on May 21st.
WoW Classic Free Weekend
This weekend, all players with an inactive WoW account have the opportunity to play for free on the WoW Classic Progression Realms. The Cataclysm Classic update is already available on the WoW Progression Realms, so you can explore the new classes and the new map this weekend. All you need to do is have the Battle.net Launcher installed and sign in there. Then simply download and play WoW Classic.
If you have an inactive WoW account, you can play for free until May 13th at 4 PM CET. So, don’t miss out on the chance to play the new update for free this weekend. Maybe you’ll feel like playing the update on the normal servers starting May 21st.
