Players managed to farm 50,000 Honor in 30 mins in Wrath of the Lich King Classic using an exploit.

WOTLK CLASSIC WINTERGRASP EXPLOIT
Players exploited an oversight by Blizzard over the weekend that gave them infinite Honor by queuing for multiple PvP matches in Wintergrasp at once.
The exploit is found in Thousand Winters, where players can sign up to fight in a battle for 30 minutes every 3 hours.
However, the set 30-minute timer from Blizzard means players can participate in multiple battles if they finish within a few minutes.
You can theoretically queue up for four or five battles, and as that information spread, the meta quickly saw the defending teams rush out of their positions and into the attackers to be quickly overwhelmed.
Since the weekend, some have reported you can still do the trick, whereas others have stated it no longer works.
