World of Warcraft The War Within is the latest DLC for WoW, dropping on August 27. Sadly, it’s not free. If you wanna play the DLC earlier, you’ll need the Epic Edition, which lets you start on August 23. The War Within is the start of the Worldsoul Saga, which will be made up of three DLCs. The other DLCs will come out later, but details on those are still pretty vague.

In the new DLC, you’ll travel to Khaz Algar, a small island in the southwest of Azeroth. There, you’ll meet new folks and have lots of new stuff to explore. Even though the island itself is pretty small, there’s a whole continent underneath it. Most of this DLC takes place underground, with lots of layers to explore.

In The War Within, there’s a new race, the Earthen. These guys are your new allies, and you can even play as them. Basically, they’re bigger, rockier dwarves. Their home is the capital city of Dornogal, which is the main hub in the DLC and your personal base of operations.

What Else is New?

The new DLC gives you more than just a new class; there are some cool improvements too. The biggest one is that the max level is going up from 70 to 80. Plus, all classes are getting new talent trees, so you can customize your character even more to fit your playstyle.

There are also eight new dungeons in the DLC. Four of these are perfect for leveling up, and then there are four endgame dungeons. On top of that, there’s a new raid with eight bosses. So, gather your crew and take on this challenging raid.

Another cool new feature is the Delves. These are mini-dungeons that you can tackle with a small group or even solo. In these mini-dungeons, you’ll face unique challenges and, of course, score some epic loot that’s different from what you’ll find in regular dungeons.

One more big new feature is dynamic flying. The flying mechanics in the game are getting a complete overhaul, which should make a lot of players happy. This will be available for hundreds of mounts in the new DLC.
