World of Warcraft – Shadowlands Patch 9.1.5 Now Live – Meet the Highlights

There are many changes and new features with the latest World of Warcraft content update, so let’s jump straight into it.
New Character Customization Options
New Customization Options:
Nightborne Draenei
Lightforged Draenei
New Ear Size Options:
Void Elves
New Travel Forms of Druids
New Soulshapes for Night Fae
Allied Races Unlocked
Allied races that had a dungeon requirement to unlock have now changed. You can now immediately choose them without the need to complete the dungeon beforehand.
Allied Race Unlocks:- Kul’Tiran Humans
- Mechagnomes
- Dark Iron Dwarves
Covenant Changes
There is a significant change to Covenants, as those that reach maximum Renown can now switch between any of the four Covenants for free.
You can switch at any time with no cooldown, restriction, or penalty, and any cosmetic, pet, and mount rewards will remain available to you regardless of membership.
Once you have completed a Covenant campaign on any character, your alternate characters will now have the ability to skip that same campaign and instantly earn the Renown and unlock the third Soulbind.
Legion Timewalking
Legion Timewalking lets you take on the challenges of six of Legion’s dungeons to earn exclusive rewards.
Legion Timewalking Dungeons:
- Black Rook Hold – A nigh-impregnable fortress, the ancestral home of Lord Kur’talos Ravencrest is now filled with restless dead and mysterious dark energy.
- Court of Stars – Grand Magistrix Elisande looks to make an appearance at a party thrown by the Nightborne nobility, despite the dangers that cast shadows over the city of Suramar.
- Darkheart Thicket – Deep within the forest, a dark and corrupted Lord Xavius attempts to break his enemy’s will and cast the world in shadow.
- Eye of Azshara – Queen Azshara’s followers attempt to summon her from her slumber so that she can destroy their enemies.
- Neltharion’s Lair – Azeroth is once again threatened, this time by the Chieftain of the Drogbar, Dargul, who uses the home of Deathwing to build his army and rally them to his cause.
- Vault of the Wardens – Once a prison for some of the most dangerous foes the Warden’s fought, the vault is now open after Cordana’s betrayal, leaving these powerful creatures to roam the halls.
Legion Timewalking Rewards
By completing the Legion dungeons, you will earn Timewarped Badges, which you can turn in for greater rewards.
Timewalking Rewards:
- Mount – Favor of the Val’sharah Hippogryph
- Toy – Nightborne Guard’s Vigilance
- Cosmetic Shield – Replica Aegis of Aggramar
- Transmog Ensemble – Ravencrest’s Battleplate
- Reputation Tokens for all major Legion factions.
Island Expeditions Queue Update
Island Expeditions are now available to everyone, whether you want to join the queue solo or with a party.
They are available to join in Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties.
Transmogrification Linking
You can now show off your transmog outfit by linking it straight to chat from the Dressing Room.
Anyone who wants to know more about collecting the outfit can hover over each item to learn more.
PvP Gear Adjustments
The power level gap is hopefully resolved so that newer players can better compete in Battleground and Arenas.
To do this, Blizzard has scaled the lower item level to better match the higher item level.
Alt Character Leveling
Leveling up alternative characters is now smoother thanks to an additional rank of Heirloom upgrades, Renown gains, and improvements to Threads of Fate.
