Valve has been working on a new game, and no, it’s not Half-Life 3. Over the last couple of weeks, excitement and hype have been growing around an upcoming unannounced game from Valve.

Deadlock is a third-person, team-based hero shooter similar to Riot’s Valorant and Blizzard’s Overwatch 2. Valve has not released any information on the game. The company has sent out invites to players to try the ongoing playtest, and screenshots and gameplay have leaked from those participating.

In truth, Deadlock seems to be a blend of MOBA and hero shooter, with matches taking place on lanes similar to Valve’s own DOTA 2. From the leaks, we know the game features 19 playable characters, each with unique playstyles and abilities.
