Try Out the New Overwatch Oasis Map in the Public Test Region Now

The new Overwatch Oasis map is now live on the Public Test Region! Players can now go ahead and test the new map and get to enjoy its features.

The Oasis map features a jump pad, lots of vantage points, and a superhighway with speeding cars! The highway is quite busy, so it’s wise for players to look carefully before trying to cross that road. You wouldn’t want your hero to die because of a speeding car (see video below).

The Overwatch Oasis map is a Control Map just like Lijiang Tower. Teams will have to fight and hold an objective at a time, and the team who wins two rounds is declared the winner.

To participate in the Public Test Region, simply log on to your Battle.Net client and navigate on the Overwatch tab found on the left-hand side of the menu. Then select “PTR: Overwatch” from the Region/Account drop-down menu. Click “Install” and the new patch will begin installation. You can simply click “Play” once the patch has fully installed.
