#1 Riot targets toxic content creators!
Starting January 3rd, Riot Games will be cracking down on the most toxic content creators, even outside their games. The studio has decided to take its fight against toxic behavior one step further by sanctioning offensive comments made on other platforms, like live streams.
If a content creator insults a teammate during a stream, they could face penalties as if it happened in-game. Riot aims to extend its code of conduct beyond just gameplay, showing that toxicity has no place in or around their games. It’s an initiative designed to make the community healthier for everyone.
