The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Versions Will Be Free Update for Current-Gen Owners

CD Projekt Red has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going next-gen, as it will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X when both consoles launch.

The next-gen version features “a range of visual and technical improvements — including ray tracing and faster loading times — across the base game, both expansions, and all extra content,” CDPR said.

It will come as a free update for players who already own it on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.

CDPR is yet to announce when the free update will become available.
