Nexon has released a major update for troubled looter shooter The First Descendant, which adds a new difficulty to Void Erosion Purge and Ultimate Descendant Blair to the FPS.
The First Descendant has a new update, which adds “challenge” difficulty to the Void Erosion Purge endgame mode and Ultimate Blair as a new Ultimate Descendant.

Void Erosion Purge – What Is It?
Void Erosion Purge is an endgame mode in The First Descendant, allowing players to test their builds and skills in increasingly tough challenges for exclusive rewards, such as Weapon Cores.
The new “Challenge” difficulty level is unlocked after clearing Void Erosion Purge Normal difficulty. Players can access it via the Infiltrations Operations Terminal or the challenge icon on the World Map. Descendants can see how they stack up against others on the new leaderboard, which can be seen on the mode’s start and results screens.
Meet Ultimate Blair
Ultimate Blair is now available in the game with Update 1.2.14, coming with the new Killer Recipe and Next-Level Recipe skill modules, which improve crit rate and damage while turning him into a close-ranged wrecking ball with large area-of-effect flame damage.
Players can acquire Ultimate Blair’s new skill modules by completing Hard Intercept Battles and Module Combine. On top of the new modules and attacks, players can unlock the Pyromaniac Objet chest attachment by completing Blair’s exclusive quests.
