The initial launch of Khazan has certainly been a great success for the team. They’ve received numerous positive feedbacks, as well as some criticism and advice from the fans. The team has decided to share the content of the Balance Patch for the game’s launch on Steam, which includes:
- Skill Balancing: Buff to the damage of the Greatsword’s Brutal Attack skill. Increased cost of the defensive skill “Phantom: Heatwave” of the Spear.
- Boss Nerf: Balancing the first Boss Fights of Viper and Maluca. With Viper specifically known as the “newbie crusher.”
- Boss Buff: Some bosses have been improved and made more competitive. Names are omitted to avoid spoilers.
- Improved Easy Mode: Reduced damage to health and stamina. Plus, higher damage to enemies. Designed to improve the experience for those seeking a better fit for their level, without completely ignoring challenges.
The team also communicates that the launch of Khazan will not be a “pause” period for them. In fact, they confirm that the team is already working on implementing some of the ideas and advice shared by the community during Early Access. Additionally, they confirm the arrival of a free DLC in May. They warmly thank the community for the feedback received on the game.
