Impressive gameplay footage from Street Fighter 6 has circulated the internet, and it looks like they’re legit based on Capcom’s reaction.

Capcom revealed Street Fighter 6 at Sony’s State of Play stream on June 2nd, and immediately after the event, leaks have circulated on the internet.
The first leak contained images of the game’s possible fighter roster at launch, featuring a total of 22 characters which include both the iconic and new ones. It looks like it originated from this thread in ResetEra, but there’s a huge chance it’s been cross-posted from another source. Some were also posted in Twitter, but are already unavailable as of this post due to copyright claims.
Other leaks (posted by Rebs Gaming on Twitter) showed impressive gameplay footage featuring Cammy’s super combo. There’s also footage of the Character Selection screen featuring Ken who looks a little different this time.
With all these leaks happening, Capcom posted a tweet that kind of confirmed these leaks are the real deal. Posted through the official Street Fighter Twitter account, Capcom said, “As residents of Metro City, we’ve all seen things we weren’t supposed to see, but we’re all in this together. We appreciate all the positive reactions. Thank you for the support!”
Whether Capcom really confirmed these is anyone’s guess. It’s best to consider these as rumors until we get an official announcement from them. We’ll bring you all the latest official details as they come.
Street Fighter 6 is planned to be released in 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
