STARFIELD: NEW CITY MAPS, MOD SUPPORT, AND NEW WAYS OF TRAVELING
Bethesda and Xbox recently launched Starfield update 1.8.88 across Xbox and PC, which addresses some bugs and fixes a few issues that caused crashes. Bethesda followed up that patch by revealing Starfield new features will be coming in 2024.
STARFIELD UPDATE 1.8.88 FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
The recent Starfield 1.8.88 patch tackles a problem where space debris would adhere to your spaceship during interstellar travel and fixes it so reloading a saved game will now clear away any cosmic hitchhikers.
Outpost: Resolved an issue preventing random firearms from appearing in a newly crafted Weapon Case after loading a saved game.
Save/Load: [MSS/Xbox] Addressed a problem where players might encounter crashes when saving during extended gameplay sessions, without going through the Unity.
STARFIELD REDDIT POST REVEALS NEW WAYS TO TRAVEL ON PLANETS COMING
After posting their patch notes, Bethesda revealed on Reddit that “in-progress” quest fixes are coming in the new year. It was also revealed city maps, mod support, and all-new ways of traveling when on a planet are in the works for the sci-fi RPG.

After a so long waiting, it's time for the game to re-gain the stars it deserves
I've owned this game for a while now and have been eagerly anticipating the release of this update. Excited for it to finally arrive! Discord: Dovamax
They did said they were keep upgrading the game for as long as they could, just hope this is true as the game needs quite a redemption thanks to the latest bad reviews on it's Steam page.
