Star Wars: Outlaws: Story, Release Date and DLCs Revealed

After announcing on Twitter the imminent arrival of the Story Trailer scheduled for 9th April 2024, the new Ubisoft game Star Wars: Outlaws finally has a release date. We also have further information about the various characters we will interact with, as well as some familiar faces from the famous Star Wars franchise.


The official story of Star Wars: Outlaw

This new chapter in the Star Wars universe takes place between the fifth and sixth episodes, with the Empire dominating almost the entire Galaxy, but constantly busy quelling rebellions. In this climate, we see the protagonist Kay Vess, a rogue seeking freedom, accompanied by the trusted merqaal Nix.

The two will be hired to rob Sliro, the powerful leader of the Zerek Besh and main antagonist, the same one who put a big bounty on the two after being wronged. With the promise of wealth and freedom, Kay will therefore be on the lookout for a team for the biggest and most dangerous heist of her life, and will find new companions throughout the story. We know more about the Commando Droid, named ND-5, who will help Kay escape from an unexpected situation. As well as the return of Qi’ra and the legendary criminal Jabba The Hutt.


The release date of Star Wars: Outlaws

Together with the Story Trailer with a decidedly cinematic cut, we also have confirmation of the release date of Star Wars Outlaws. Release date set for 30 August 2024, although it will be possible to get hands-on with the title as early as 27 August, thanks to the 3-day early access with the Gold or Ultimate Edition and also with the Ubisoft+ Premium service. Also, the presence of a Season Pass and DLC that will bring exclusive missions as well as cosmetic content for Kay, Nix, weapons, and vehicles.
