Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. This past weekend, IGN published an exclusive Star Wars Outlaws 10-minute gameplay trailer that you can watch just below.

Why Are The Graphics So Bad?

The Star Wars Outlaws gameplay trailer has proven to be somewhat of a trigger for many as the YouTube comments have gone in hard on the poor graphics and visuals. Scrolling through the video’s comment section, comments include “How to save 80 euros in 10 minutes,” “Looks like an alpha version that needs at least a year to be polished,” and “so we’re gonna ignore the frame drops and san andreas like explosions?”

Overall, the comments are pretty negative. But, the gameplay trailer has received some positive comments, too, mostly on the Star Wars Outlaws Reddit page. Defending the graphics, some posters have commented things such as “Looked pretty good when it comes to gameplay,” “Its Star Wars, its open world and as long as its fun, that’s all that matters, ” and “This looks great! Exactly what I want from this game.”

Will Star Wars Outlaws Be Good?

Anything with “Star Wars” in the title will be pretty divisive. Some may criticize its graphics, and others may defend it. But, in truth, graphics won’t matter if the game proves to be good when it releases on August 30 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
