Star Wars Battlefront 2 Shows Off Epic Gameplay Teaser for Emperor Palpatine

The official Playstation Twitter account just shared a glimpse of the terror Emperor Palpatine will be unleashing in Star Wars Battlefront 2, and he’s looking more epic than ever.

The dark lord joining the battle seems to be the Original Trilogy version, with his powers concentrating more on force lightning abilities. This also means that he won’t be wielding a lightsaber.

The character’s inclusion in the game should excite fans of the Original Trilogy since the Emperor was not able to showcase his full power in those movies. One particular ability that caught our attention is a move called Dark Aura which causes a massive swirl of force around the Emperor, damaging and slowing enemies caught in it.

The teaser ends with Yoda dashing towards the Emperor, lightsaber swinging, while the Sith Lord greets his nemesis with an Electrocute attack. The two were last seen facing off in Revenge of the Sith with no clear winner.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 hits PC, Xbox One and PS4 on November 17.
