Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is delayed again. Find out the new release date and pre-order your game key on Allkeyshop.
Unfortunately, developer GSC Game World has again delayed Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The highly anticipated open-world post-apocalyptic survival game was initially supposed to release in 2012.
Multiple in-house troubles and world events would see Stalker 2 set for a 2021 release before a delay to 2022, then 2023, and again to 2024. This latest delay will hopefully be the last. In a statement in the YouTube video description, GSC says, “We’re just as eager as you are to finally release the game and for you to experience it for yourself.”
The latest Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl release date is November 20, two months after its previous September release date. According to GSC, the extra two months are to fix “unexpected anomalies.” Presumably, the developer just needs time to polish it ahead of launch day.
When Stalker 2 is eventually released, it will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. You can see more of the game before November, with GSC holding a developer deep dive on August 12.
