Sony Remove All PlayStation Now Retail Cards From Stores
Sony now looks primed to close the PlayStation Now subscription and streaming service and merge it with PlayStation Plus.

WHAT IS PLAYSTATION PLUS?
It’s no secret that Sony has been trying to come up with something to counter Microsoft and their Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
It seems now that Sony believes they have the answer as they look to streamline their services by merging PS Now with PS Plus.
Sony has not officially announced their strategy to compete with the Xbox Game Pass but did reveal that they are moving away from PlayStation Now gift cards to the current PlayStation gift cards.
If rumors are accurate, we could potentially see a new tiered PlayStation subscription service within the next couple of months.
The possible service could combine cloud-based streaming and gaming and see hundreds of new games available to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners at launch for a low price monthly subscription.
Whether it would be enough to compete with the value seen in Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass remains to be seen.
