The Forest sequel, Sons of the Forest, is delayed until later this year, according to developer Endnight Games.

SONS OF THE FOREST RELEASE DATE?
Sons of the Forest is a survival-horror sequel to smash-hit The Forest.
Sons of the Forest was originally slated for a May 2022 release date but developer Endnight Games recently announced via Twitter that the May release date was “overly ambitious.”
First announced in 2019, Sons of the Forest promises to build on what made The Forest so terrifying, with players once more starting empty-handed and isolated on an island.
To survive, players must build shelter, scavenge for food and supplies, and craft weapons to fight back the horrors that come out when night falls.
The latest Sons of the Forest gameplay trailer shows a little of the crafting, exploration, combat, and a few different enemy types.
Sons of the Forest will now hopefully release in October 2022 and is available on PC.
