Don’t miss the Gothic 1 Remake Demo!

Solasta II is the long-awaited sequel to the acclaimed Solasta: Crown of the Magister, a tactical RPG released in 2021 and based on the 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons. A game that brings the tabletop RPG experience to the screen.
With an extremely detailed game crafted for big fans, but also a great game that is easy to learn for beginners. The official announcement of the sequel was made during The Game Awards 2024, receiving huge enthusiasm from fans, especially due to the recent return of classic RPG formulas.
Solasta II: The Game Demo Announcement
The announcement came from the Tactical Adventures team on February 7th. Originally planned for the Steam Next Fest starting on February 24th, the team decided to bring the demo forward. Making it available starting February 20th, 2025, allowing fans to spend the weekend trying Solasta 2.
Accompanied by a trailer showcasing the demo’s content, where we’ll be transported to the village of Tor Wen in the continent of Neokos. With about 2-3 hours of content to try a portion of what awaits in the full game.

Solasta 2: What the Demo Offers
The Tactical Adventures team offers us a playable demo for Single Player only. In particular, we will not have access to the Character Creator, which is still under development by the team. Also, we won’t be able to level up, but our party will already be at level 3. Composed of:
- Knut, Dwarven Paladin: With the Oath of Liberation subclass and able to help allies and stop enemies with Blinding Castigation. Along with a large amount of HP and Armor.
- Neyra, Human Fighter/Cleric: With access to Multiclassing, with a build of lv 2 Fighter / lv 1 Life Cleric.
- Joralas, Elven Sorcerer: A Mana Painter Sorcerer at level 3, able to hit with AoE spells. And access to all Metamagic options for the Demo, instead of just 2 options.
- Daisy, Halfling Rogue: A lv 3 Scavenger Rogue as a new subclass. A versatile damage dealer able to respond as needed, even thanks to the ability to change weapons without limitations in the demo.
Also, a neat feature is the ability to take in-game screenshots by disabling the UI by pressing CTRL+H. Additionally, there are some convenient control options, where you can choose either modern or classic commands, as well as gamepad support.

In Conclusion
A fantastic game demo that has already received very positive feedback from fans. Although many were somewhat disappointed by the optimization level of the demo, partly due to the transition from Unity in the first game to the heavier Unreal Engine 5.
