Satisfactorys Roadmap to 1.0 – Unlocking the Future

The big news coming from Coffee Stain Studios this past weekend is that the open-world base-building game Satisfactory will be released out of Steam Early Access sometime this year, with the devs revealing the Satisfactory 1.0 roadmap.

First launched in Early Access in 2019, Satisfactory is a first-person base-building game that challenges players to build planet-size factories, complete with automated production and conveyor belts, as they produce and transport goods across hostile land.

In the most recent update, Coffee Stain has outlined its plans for Satisfactory 1.0, which will include a “factory-load” of new features. The full 1.0 release will come with the game’s complete narrative story, new content, and fixes for various bugs and issues. They dropped short of revealing what exactly is coming as Studio Community Manager Snutt Treptow says Coffee Stain doesn’t want to reveal much “until the full release of the game.”

Unfortunately, with the entire developer team now working on 1.0, there will be no major updates for the game until the full release. But it’s not all bad news, as those interested can try Satisfactory 1.0 early by signing up for the closed beta on the game’s official site by scrolling to the bottom.

There are no dates as to when the closed beta will begin and end, and there is no exact date set for the Satisfactory 1.0 release. But while you wait, check out our top 15 survival games of 2024 similar to Satisfactory.
