Rusty Rabbit Release Date Announced – Preorder, Demo, and Early Access Revealed Too!
Rusty Rabbit release date is announced for PC, PS5, and Switch! Demo is confirmed plus early access for preorders, now live.
Rusty Rabbit is an action-adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world where rabbits reign supreme after humanity’s departure during an ice age. Players step into the shoes of Stamp, an old rabbit and seasoned “rust digger,” who explores the sacred ruins of Smokestack Mountain in search of treasure and answers. After joining a team of rust diggers called the BBs, Stamp goes on a journey to uncover the truth behind his estranged daughter’s fate and the secrets buried within ancient human ruins.
The game combines fast-paced exploration with RPG-like progression. Using a mech equipped with ninja-like speed and devastating abilities, players smash through mazelike ruins, collect valuable treasures, and customize their mech for tougher battles ahead.
Rusty Rabbit Release Date Confirmed
Rusty Rabbit was initially slated for a fall release last year but by August, NetEase Games decided to delay it. During the announcement, it also revealed that the game will also be launched on Nintendo Switch which may have contributed to the postponement.
But now, it is ready to make its big debut. Rusty Rabbit is now confirmed to launch on April 17th for PC via Steam, Playstation 5, and Nintendo Switch. While the PC version can only be wishlisted for now, the Playstation 5 version is now live for preorders. And by pre-purchasing it, gamers will be granted 3 days early access. Meaning, the game will unlock as early as April 14th.
As for the Switch version, the page isn’t live yet but there is a special treat! Well at least for gamers in Asia. Rusty Rabbit is confirmed to have a physical copy for the Switch version in this region.
Rusty Rabbit Gets A Demo For Steam Next Fest
Apart from the launch date, NetEase announced that the game will participate in the upcoming Steam Next Fest. And so in line with this, a Rusty Rabbit demo will be available on February 21st.
