Predator Hunting Grounds was initially released on April 24, 2021 for Playstation 4 and PC. The game offers an immersive experience for fans of both the Predator franchise and asymmetrical multiplayer games. The game’s intense gameplay, atmospheric setting, and strategic depth make it a standout title in the genre.

And finally, the game is getting its much deserved update to make its debut to next-gen consoles.

Predator Hunting Grounds Xbox Release

Predator Hunting Grounds was initially a Playstation exclusive, having been originally published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. But now that the rights are back to IllFonic and 20th Century Games, it will make its way to Xbox.

The Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5 digital versions will launch on October 1, 2024, offering three editions which will all include the bonus, Feral Predator.

  • Standard Edition – includes the base game with bonus, the Feral Predator, equipped with his Crossbolt Gun, Combistick, and Shield.
  • Jungle Edition – includes the standard edition contents plus fan-favorite Predators: City Hunter (’97), Samurai, Valkyrie, and Viking, all equipped with custom weaponry.
  • Yautja Edition – includes the base game, the Feral Predator, and almost all downloadable Predators: Bionic Predator, City Hunter (’97), Cleopatra, Emissary, Exiled, Samurai, Valkyrie, Viking, Wolf, Hunting Party (Captured, Falconer, and Mr. Black Predators,) Hunting Party 2 (Amazon and Pirate Predators) and Hunting Party 3 (Celtic, Chopper, and Scar Predators), all equipped with custom weaponry.

So not only are we getting next-gen console versions of the game, but Predator Hunting Grounds PS5 will also have a physical copy. Unfortunately for Xbox players, the game disc remains to be Playstation exclusive.

Preordering of the discs opened on September 24 and will be distributed on November 12, 2024.
