A recent Pokémon TCG Pocket datamine has revealed key details of the upcoming December event. The free-to-play mobile app has proven to hugely successful for The Pokémon Company and fans are excited for December’s update. The leak reveals December’s event will focus on Magnemite and Bulbasaur.
Pokémon TCG Pocket is the recently released free-to-play collectible card game for iOS and Android devices. Released on October 30, Pokémon TCG Pocket’s November event focuses on Lapras Ex, with players earning special promo packs containing Butterfree, Pikachu, Mankey, Clefairy, and Lapras Ex through battles. A new leak has revealed the game’s December schedule, two weeks before it goes live.
A post on Reddit has leaked the December Bulbasaur and Magnemite Wonder Pick Event as starting on December 6 and ending on December 20. Pokémon TCG Pocket players can earn more Promo Packs, Shop Tickets, and Genetic Apex Emblems. Replacing Lapras Ex in December is four new challenges featuring Ivysaur, Venusaur, Scyther, and Lilligant.
Pokémon fans are looking forward to next month’s Pokémon TCG Pocket event, as new rewards and challenges come to the mobile game. A datamine shared on Reddit has revealed four new decks, similar to the current Lapras Ex event, will come to the card game in December.
Featuring, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Scyther, and Lilligant, players can earn the upcoming Promo Pack A Series 2, Shinedust, Hourglasses, and Shop Tickets. The four new decks come as part of the Bulbasaur and Magnemite event, which begins on December 6.
The upcoming December update will include new coins, backdrops, card sleeves, and special items in the shop. Players can also earn new Emblems by competing in PvP matchups.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has been a massive success since its launch in October, with the game reportedly earning $12m in its first four days. A recent tweet revealed the free-to-play game has over 30 million downloads, with reports suggesting its outselling Pokémon GO sales by 4 to 1.
Players are looking forward to Pokémon TCG Pocket’s December event, with plenty more coming in the new year. There are already plans to introduce player trading in January 2025.
