Path Of Exile 2 Release Date

After a long wait, Path of Exile 2 is finally on the horizon and has been given a release date. Get ready to play this classic RPG on November 15 as it releases on Early Access. This was confirmed during the recently concluded Gamescom. It will launch on PC via Steam, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It was also reported to be releasing for MacOS.

While it isn’t a long wait anymore, there is a way to experience the game ahead of the early access release through its closed beta. It will be a small test group so chances are slim but still worth a try.

The PoE2 closed beta was initially given a June 7, 2024 release as per a Reddit forum last year. But fast forward to today, still no closed beta. The official Path of Exile X account even posted last month that it is still “coming soon”. The date has not been confirmed as of now so if you haven’t registered yet, you may still register through the game’s website or this quick link.

If you are one of the lucky few, you are definitely in for a treat as it was confirmed that the closed beta test will include the whole game, all character classes, and even the endgame.

Path Of Exile 2 Early Access Details

Path of Exile 2 features 12 character classes, each with single or hybrid attributes. And with one of the most expensive skill tree systems there is, you can customize and build your character to suit your playstyle.


  • Warrior – maces, hammers (Strength)
  • Marauder – axes (Strength)
  • Ranger – bows (Dexterity)
  • Huntress – spears (Dexterity)
  • Witch – minions and occult spells (Intelligence)
  • Sorceress – elemental spells, staves (Intelligence)
  • Duelist – swords (Str/Dex)
  • Mercenary – crossbows, grenades (Str/Dex)
  • Shadow – daggers and traps (Int/Dex)
  • Monk – unarmed, quarterstaves (Int/Dex)
  • Templar – flails, shields (Str/Int)
  • Druid – shapeshift spells, staves (Str/Int)

Scion class will not be playable upon PoE2’s launch.

The game will have six campaigns that will lead to the endgame with over 100 maps, each with its own boss fight and modifiers. More details on the endgame will be revealed the closer we are to release. So hang tight and keep updated!
