Overwatch 2: When Is the Closed Beta?
Overwatch 2 is planned for 2023, but Blizzard Entertainment are planning on a playable beta which will be available on PC.

HOW DO I SIGN UP TO THE OVERWATCH 2 CLOSED BETA?
Overwatch 2 is currently in a closed alpha test, as Blizzard looks to bring the game to players much sooner than its 2023 release date.
In a community update, Overwatch 2 game director Aaron Keller announced that Blizzard are changing their release strategy by “decoupling Overwatch 2’s PvP and PvE” experiences.”
Essentially, Blizzard are looking at releasing Overwatch 2’s PvP content to players early so that they can test new features, content, and systems ahead of a wider release.
Overwatch 2 PvP Beta Test Content:
- 5v5
- New Hero (Sojourn)
- New Maps
- New Mode (Push)
- Hero Reworks
- New Ping System
The Overwatch 2 PvP Beta goes live in late April, and you can sign up for it on the game’s official website now.
Players will be given access in phases, and there will be future tests before Overwatch finally launches next year.
