How to unlock all heroes in Overwatch 2 for free
Overwatch 2 is getting some drastic changes to its microtransactions as Blizzard has announced that all heroes will be free-to-play from Season 10 onwards.
Blizzard has taken the step to remove all Overwatch 2 heroes from behind a paywall with no heroes needed to be unlocked via the battle pass as they look to give more back to players following an awful launch and poor reception after a lack of promised PvE content.
In the Overwatch 2 developer update, game director Aaron Keller revealed that all heroes will be unlocked once players have completed the first-time user experience and unlocked original roster of heroes.
The change comes in with Season 10, and also coming to the objective-based shooter is a new Mythic Shop, which will offer players the chance to upgrade and unlock the more expensive skins for heroes dating back to Season 7.
There are also two new maps planned, as well as the new Clash Mode. Oh, and to help you unlock more, the battle pass from Season 10 will increase the number of coins a player can earn from 540 to 600.
