Mobius Digital and Annapurna Interactive’s Outer Wilds is getting an expansion called Echoes of the Eye, and it is set to launch in September.

It’s been two years since The Outer Wilds launched, and it’s about time the space adventure game gets new content. Echoes of the Eye is set to launch on September 28 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, and is the game’s first and final expansion.
What is in Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye expansion?
Not much is known about its exact content, but in Annapurna’s showcase, the expansion is said to be adding new narratives and locations.
Its official description reads:
“The hearthian space program has detected an anomaly that can’t be attributed to any known location in the solar system. Grab your flashlight and prepare to illuminate the darkest secrets of the Outer Wilds…”
