Nioh Gets Launch Trailer for Upcoming Steam Release

Hack-n-slash action RPG, Nioh, is coming to PC via Steam and Team Ninja is hyping up fans with its dark and gritty launch trailer.

The game follows the adventures of William, an Irish samurai who finds himself in a war-engulfed Japan while in pursuit of an enemy. To make things worse, vengeful spirits called the yokai have appeared amidst all the death and chaos. William will have to fight his way through vicious enemies, human and supernatural alike, if he wishes to find what he seeks. You can watch the Steam launch trailer below.

The game has often been compared to the Souls games because of it’s punishing difficulty and dark fantasy setting. It features a deep combat system with plenty of customization options, and very challenging boss battles. It was previously released as a PS4-exclusive in February of this year.

The game will launch on Steam as a “Complete Edition”, which includes the base game and all three expansions — Dragon of the North, Defiant Honor and Bloodshed’s End. Steam players will also get an exclusive “Dharmachakra Kabuto” helmet.

Nioh Complete Edition will launch on PC via Steam on 7 November.
