The Nintendo Switch is now the third best-selling video game console after the latest Nintendo financial results confirmed the latest sales figures.
The Switch has now sold 122.55 million units, taking it above the Nintendo Gameboy (118.69 million units) and Sony’s PlayStation 4 (117.2 million units).
It now means the Switch now sits behind just Sony’s PlayStation 2 (155 million units) and the Nintendo DS )154.02 million units).
The latest financials comes when the Nintendo Switch is reportedly coming to the end of its cycle, with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom set to be the last first-party game for the console when it releases later this year.
Nintendo is set to announce the next console in 2024, and whatever it will be will likely be a success, considering they have three consoles in the top 5 best-selling of all time.
