Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom Teases Kingdom Building Mode

Bandai Namco just realeased a new video teasing the Kingdom Building mode of Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom. Although only a little over 30 seconds long, it gives future players a peek at the evolution their kingdom can go through as they progress.

As the boy king Evan, you won’t be handed a kingdom to rule. Instead, you’ll need to build yourself one from the ground up. This is just one of the few features that Level-5 is including in the game to set this sequel apart from other JRPGs out there.

Aside from the kingdom-building, other features include real-time combat, an open overworld to explore, large scale army-to-army battles, and elemental support creatures called ‘Higgledies’ that allow you to use various spells.

Set hundreds of years after the events of the first game, players will take control of Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, an usurped king from the Cat Tribe out to reclaim his kingdom. Two more heroes aid him on his quest — the otherworldly visitor Roland, and the daughter of the leader of the air pirates, Tani.

Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom is scheduled to be released on 23 March for PC and PS4.
