Neighbors: Suburban Warfare is a humorous 4v4 shooter by Invisible Walls. In this game, you’ll be fighting against a rival neighborhood. The game launches today at 16:00 UTC on Steam in Early Access. The goal is to defend your own house while trying to destroy the other team’s house.

Neighbors: Suburban Warfare Gameplay: Chaotic House Battles with Everyday Items
In Neighbors: Suburban Warfare, two teams of four players each face off against each other. It’s a PVP shooter, and your team’s objective is to destroy key objects in the enemy’s house – like the TV, toilet, bed, and oven. Of course, the enemy team will try to do the same to you, so you’ll need to attack and defend at the same time.
But you won’t be using real weapons to fight. Instead, there are improvised weapons like umbrellas as shields, a rolling pin or homemade catapults that can launch you quickly toward the enemy. Matches take place in different suburban environments, with both day and night cycles introducing new challenges. Over time, you’ll unlock more weapons, like the Seagull-130 – basically a bomber, but it’s a seagull that drops poop bombs on your enemies from above.
Of course, you can also build traps to protect your house from intruders. For example, you can hang up string lights to block the path or board up windows with a hammer and wooden planks. But opponents can break these barricades down with a sledgehammer.
The characters in the game are also pretty unique. At the start of Early Access, there are 8 characters available. Each one has their own special abilities and unique playstyle. Doreen is a retired boxer in a bathrobe who deals heavy punches. Then there’s Kevin, a cheeky kid who loves his slingshot and causing chaos. And many more. This leads to a lot of different tactics and variety in gameplay.
Early Access Info
The Early Access for Neighbors: Suburban Warfare started today at 16:00 UTC, so you can jump into the action right now. The Early Access version is only available for PC via Steam. Unfortunately, the game won’t be free, but since the developers want a high player count, it will only cost €10.
