NBA 2K24 is bidding both Game Pass and Playstation Plus farewell next month. Although it seems like a short stint, well it is compared to other games, it is about usual for other NBA 2K titles especially for the Game Pass service.

Previous installments like NBA 2K20 and NBA 2K21 both stayed on GP for six months while NBA 2K22 is about four months. It could be that it is very expensive to include in the catalog or six months is just the max NBA 2K would allow the games in any gaming subscription service.

If you’re wondering about NBA 2K23, it never made its way to Game Pass but it did for Playstation Plus. It was up for the monthly games in June of last year together with Jurassic World Evolution 2 and Trek to Yomi.

Going back to NBA 2K24, it is scheduled to leave Game Pass on August 31, making it the first confirmed title to leave the service next month, and on August 20 for Playstation Plus.
