It's taken 7 long years, but Street Fighter VI is here. More accessible for beginners without denigrating hardcore gamers, thanks to intermediate key mappings. A roster of 18 fighters (+ 4 for the first DLC) is available. In terms of gameplay, a number of new features enhance the game's ultra-smooth flow. The semi-open world is a good idea, and the arenas are packed with detail, lively and with excellent commentary.
Capcom never stops surprising us, and this time they've done a great job on Street Fighter 6. While remaining faithful to previous installments, this opus offers several new features. I think the most remarkable feature is the ability to walk around the city and engage in combat, in order to train or simply mess around with the AI and the environment. You almost get the impression that they've redesigned the series to give us a modern, captivating and dynamic fighting game that's certainly worth its price. Good music, superb graphics and excellent gameplay - that's what you get in this title.
I was never much into fighting games but Street Fight 6 looks great and is a blast to play. I tried the demo and found it pretty welcoming to newcomers but still complex enough for more experienced players to take advantage of their skills too. There is variety in the characters to choose from and their moves, as well as in the modes the game has to offer. The controls felt very smooth and responsive, which is essential in these types of games, and despite not being a fan of the genre, it's a game I'd easily recommend to almost everyone.
