Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Won’t Have Mileena As Playable Character
NetherRealm Studios have released a new trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, revealing new friendships and confirming that Mileena will not be playable.
The new trailer for the game focuses on the new friendships that will be added to the game, among them the friendship between Mileena and Kitana, which NetherRealm confirmed on Twitter, also confirming that Mileena will not be playable.
The game picks up at the end of the main storyline after Liu Kang has defeated Kronika. Liu Kang, along with Raiden look to use the Hourglass to create a better timeline when Shang Tsung and allies show up to reveal a greater threat.
With Aftermath comes new playable characters, RoboCop, from the hit 1987 classic sci-fi movie, Fujin, the God of Wind, and Sheeva, the four-armed, half-dragon queen of the Shokan.
Coming with Aftermath too will be a free content update that adds new stages, and classical ones, as well as Stage Fatalities and the new friendships.
Those that pre-order Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will receive the Eternal Klash Skin Pack that features the Unbound Rage Scorpion, Son of Arctika Sub-Zero and Kori Power Frost skins.
Mileena has been wanted by fans for a while in another Mortal Kombat game, but back on April 1, Ed Boon joked that we would never see Mileena in a Mortal Kombat game again, whether that was simply an April Fools or not, we will have to wait and see.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is set to launch on May 26, 2020, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
