NetherRealm Studios has dropped the gameplay trailer for Ermac, the new fighter coming to Mortal Kombat 1 as DLC. Watch the trailer in this article and find out the character goes live.

The official Ermac gameplay trailer, the new fighter coming to NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat 1 next week has been released, showing off some of the character’s moves and Fatality.

Ermac joins the MK1 roster having first appeared in the series in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Made of up souls, Ermac shows off his impressive telekinesis powers in the trailer and a rather brutal Fatality where he tears off the limbs of his opponent and rearranges them before turning them into a puddle of red goo.

Warner Bros. Games describes Ermac in the offical press release alongside the trailer as “a collection of souls bound together by Quan Chi’s dark magic that are intended to function as a group mind.” After the spell is undone, Ermac must now fight for a future in which he has a place.

Ermac is the fourth DLC character to join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster and will go be released on April 23, with an Early Access beginning on April 16. Players can buy him as a separate DLC or purchase the Kombat Pack which includes Quan Chi, Homelander, Omni-Man, Peacemaker, and Takeda.
