Prime Gaming has officially opened its April offerings and it starts big with Minecraft Legends and Mafia 3 Definitive Editions!

Prime Gaming is kicking off April in a big way, bringing a massive lineup of 23 free games this month! As always, Amazon Prime members can look forward to expanding their libraries with a wide variety of titles, and to start things off, the first five games are already available to claim.

This week’s wave includes a mix of action, adventure, cozy charm, and retro-inspired gameplay. Headlining the drop is Minecraft Legends, available via free Microsoft Store codes on PC and Xbox. Also joining the roster are Mafia III: Definitive Edition, the zany fun of Clouds & Sheep 2, the fast-paced platforming of Gravity Circuit, and the relaxing farming sim Paleo Pines. With such a diverse batch to kick off the month, April is such a great second quarter opener.

 

Minecraft Legends is an action-strategy game where you must rally allies and lead epic battles to defend the Overworld from a destructive Piglin invasion. Set in a vibrant, ever-changing landscape rich with resources and diverse biomes, you’ll form alliances with familiar and new mobs. Command your troops in large-scale combat, protect your village, and launch coordinated attacks to push back the Piglin threat.

How to claim the free Microsoft Store game from Prime Gaming?

To redeem the free Minecraft Legends via the Microsoft Store for PC or Xbox, go to this link for PC or press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide and go to Store. Then hit Redeem, enter the 25-character code, click Next and follow the prompt.

This code from Prime Gaming is valid until June 4, 2025 and must be redeemed by July 4, 2025.

 
 

How to claim the free GOG code from Prime Gaming?

Although the free code is claimed on Prime, you will still need a GOG account as they are only redeemable on the said platform. So after you click ‘Get Game’ from the Prime website, head on over to the GOG code redemption page and click Continue. The game will then be automatically added to your account.

The free code for Mafia 3: Definitive Edition is claimable until June 30 and must be redeemed by July 3.

 
 

How to get game keys for free via Amazon Games App?

The free keys can be downloaded and played via Amazon Games App which comes free with your subscription. Once you’ve claimed it, it is yours forever to keep even after your subscription ends.
