Discover the list of the exclusive games for PlayStation 5
Everyone is wondering what we will play on the new PS5 console since the launch is close, November 2020.
There is just a handful of games confirmed for the newest Sony’s next gen device, and a bunch of them will be also available for Xbox Series X.
In this article, we will only show the confirmed games, that are exclusives to the PS5 console. You can also check the exclusive games for the Xbox Series X.
Still not sure what to choose between PS5 and Xbox Series X? Here are the upcoming exclusive games for PlayStation 5:
(meaning they won’t release on Xbox Series X, but some of them will also release on PC and/or on PS4):
- Horizon Forbidden West – coming in 2021. Horizon Zero Dawn gets a new sequel for PS5, bringing back the protagonist Aloy. She will be exploring 31st century California, Utah and Neveda.
2. Spider-Man: Miles Morales – it will release in the 2020 holiday, around the time of PS5 launch. The game is set 1 year after the events from the 2018’s Spider-Man game.
3. Gran Turismo 7 – date of launch not confirmed yet. The 8th racing game of the saga supports haptic feedback and 3D audio.
4. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart – date of launch not confirmed yet, but is supposed to appear around the time the PS5 will release. The game is in third person and will make use of the DualSense controller while you use the weapons.
5. Demon’s Souls – a remake “rebuilt from the ground up” from PS3 directly to PS5 and has not a date of launch, yet.
6. Project Athia – developed by the team behind Final Fantasy XV and is exclusively for PS5 and PC, it will make full use of the “next-gen power“.
7. Returnal – a sci-fi action game with roguelike elements, that could be placed in the movie Edge of Tomorrow.
8. Sackboy: A Big Adventure – play this cute platform game from the Little Big Planet series, in solo or in multiplayer.
9. Astro’s Playroom – this 3D platform game will introduce players to the DualSense controller and it’s coming pre-loaded on PS5. It’s a sequel to Astro Bot Rescue Mission released in 2018 on PS4.
10. Destruction AllStars – car and on-foot battle arena. Each of the characters has their unique skills, the game will feature solo and multiplayer modes.

11. Godfall – Ascend in Godfall, the first-of-its-kind, looter-slasher, melee action-RPG. It will release also around the PS5 launch, in exclusivity for console but it’s also set to release on PC later. It was the first game confirmed for PlayStation 5.
12. BugSnax – an adventure video game where players explore a mysterious island and attempt to find and capture the half-bug-half-snack creatures. It will release in December 2020 for PS5, PS4 and PC.
13. Ghostwire: Tokyo – action-adventure game coming to PC and on PS5 in 2021. After most of the citizens of Tokyo disappear, the player’s abilities start to show and he must use that power to hunt the spirits that invaded the city.
14. Goodbye Volcano High – narrative adventure game coming for the PS5, PS4 and PC in 2021.
15. Oddworld Soulstorm – a platform game and the continuation of 2014’s Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, coming in 2020 for PC, PS4 and PS5.
16. Stray – third-person adventure game where a stray cat has to solve an ancient mystery in order to get away from a long-forgotten city.
17. Deathloop – an action-adventure game about 2 rival assassins stuck in a time loop. Your objective is to end it but your rival wants to preserve it, there’s only one way to break the loop and it won’t be easy!
