Lies of P – Souls-Like Game Starring Pinocchio Showcases Gameplay in New Trailer

In Lies of P, you’ll play not as the Pinocchio who wants to become a real-life boy, instead you are a puppet mechanoid who sets off to search for the mysterious Mr. Geppetto. And yes, he also wants to become human. In the game, though, the more he tells lies, the closer he gets to becoming human.
The game is set in the city of Krat which is described as “a city overwhelmed by madness and bloodlust.” In your search for Geppetto, you will also try to find answers on what really happened to you and the city.
As a puppet, you’ll get to change Pinocchio’s body parts to gain new skills and maybe help you in battle. Some enhancements will provide other features aside from advantages while in combat.
And speaking of combat, to help Pinocchio fight his enemies, the game also has a weapon-making system that allows you to combine weapons in a lot of possible ways. Use your wit to see what combinations are best, and maybe create something really useful.
As mentioned, you will be telling a lot of lies throughout the game. The lies you tell will affect how the game progresses as the game features interconnected procedural quests that play out depending on your lie, and will later affect how the story ends.
Lies of P doesn’t have a release date at this time, but we can expect the game to be available for PC via Steam and consoles (to be confirmed).
