Kingdom Come Deliverance won’t be your typical medieval RPG. That’s what you’ll realize once you’re done watching the new gameplay video released by Warhorse Studios. The developers have opted to trade dragons and wizards for realism and immersion.

First thing you’ll notice is how beautiful the game world looks, filled with lush greens and gorgeous European landscapes. The video also shows some of the different options available to players when dealing with quests. Here, you’ll find the player poisoning pots, stealing armor to wear as a disguise, infiltrating an enemy camp, and going on an all out offensive.
You can check out the lengthy gameplay video called ‘Great Haste Makes Great Waste’ below:
The combat system seems to have some depth, with enemy numbers and armor types affecting effective combat strategies. The player may feel a bit restricted during group battles though, finding yourself bumping into allies as you move to and fro to get a hit in. This does add to the realism though.
It looks like this might not be the last of these types of videos from Warhorse. We’ll keep you posted if and when the next one comes out.
Kingdom Come Deliverance is scheduled for release on 13 February for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
