Have you heard of Islands of Nyne (ION) made by Define Human Studios? While the company is new, it is made by veterans of the gaming industries that come from big companies like Bioware, Ubisoft or Epic Games. The game has been release in Early Access yesterday 12th of July.

You could say: “Oh not, not another BR!”. And this could be understandable with how popular the Battle Royale gender is popular nowadays. But this game is a bit different than your usual BR in the fact that it has a bit more futuristic look than usual and the shooting is really snappy and reactive, clearly making it different than the more realistic and simulation approach of games like PUBG or Fortnite.
Some players might see Islands of Nyne as another cash grab quickly developed. But actually the game has been in development since 2015, 3 years is not a short time in the video game industry. Also the developer want to add a bit more than the usual BR package by trying to include a story (@5:42 in the video below). It is also interesting to note that there is also a Deathmatch mode.
But let’s go to the more important thing. Here is what the game looks like thanks to LevelCapGaming (please note the video is closed alpha footage from a year ago, so the game has possibly changed a bit from then):
Our opinion is that for the price it is worth a try. That is if you like this format.

after looking at some streams, it seems like a fun game and characters arent extreme bullet sponges like in fornite but i still prefer pubg over it
90% of the developers are trying desperately to milk out the battle royale genre but PUBG and Fortnite are here to stay and they did it the best
