Horizon Forbidden West keeps the hype up with its latest trailer featuring one of Aloy’s would-be foes, the Slitherfang.

If you’re highly anticipating Horizon Forbidden West’s release, you won’t have to wait too long as it’s release date is coming soon — February 18, 2022 to be exact. While waiting for it, Guerilla and Sony Interactive Entertainment released a new video featuring the machines Aloy will encounter in the Forbidden West.

While there are a lot of machines out there in Forbidden West, the Slitherfang proves to be one of the strongest beasts. This machine spits acid, and closely resembles a cobra. The acid comes from a tank situated at its throat’s base.

Aside from its acid-spitting ability, it can also coil around structures and use its tail to fire bolts of lightning with an electric wave.

To defeat the Slitherfang, you have to attack its acid tank to make it unusable. Archers may also attack its rattle tail to sever it, then use it as a weapon against it.
