Horizon Forbidden West could be getting a DLC and an online store, according to a leak by the VSC Rating Board.

Horizon Forbidden West is enjoying its popularity since its launch with very positive reviews coming in from various sources. The game remains true to its predecessor Horizon Zero Dawn, as it features the same gameplay and main character.
The first game received a DLC after its release, and it’s possible that Forbidden West will also receive one. According to a leak, at least.

A tweet by VSC Rating Board included a video where it talks about Horizon Forbidden West, and why it received its age rating. While it didn’t exactly confirm anything, the host on screen mentioned “an online store and DLC expansions” for the game (in the 1:19 mark). The online store will be where upcoming DLCs and other content will be available .

Those who are currently playing Forbidden West know that there’s no online store nor DLC at the moment — there are no announcements from Sony and Guerilla Games, either.
On Reddit’s r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, user Xawfire says VSC Rating Board’s leak is “legit” as “it is an administrator of the PEGI system in charge of rating videogames in Europe.”

A DLC for Horizon Forbidden West wouldn’t come as a surprise, and we’re pretty sure this has already been included in the developers’ plans even before they launched the game. For now, we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement.
