Weappy Studio has announced a further delay for the Early Access release of Hollywood Animal. Originally planned for an earlier release, the new launch date is now set for April 10. This marks the second postponement for the game, a decision the studio acknowledges may disappoint some fans.

According to Weappy Studio, the delay is necessary to ensure the game meets their high standards. The extra time will be used to expand the game’s content, refine gameplay mechanics, and address bugs. The studio expressed gratitude to players who participated in the demo and provided feedback, emphasizing how valuable this input has been in shaping the final product.

Another reason for the delay may be the crowded February release schedule. The studio jokingly referenced Arthur Gerstein’s influence in “overflowing February with big releases,” suggesting that the move to April could provide players with more breathing room to enjoy Hollywood Animal without competing distractions.

But it’s not all bad news, the demo is still live on Steam and still getting updated. The latest version is 0.7.4D which was released on Jan 8th.
