Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta and Season One Now Available

Surprise, surprise! The Halo Infinite multiplayer beta is now available. Here’s how you can download it on PC and Xbox.

During the Xbox 20th Anniversary Livestream, the folks at 343 Industries celebrated this milestone with Microsoft with a surprise announcement which thrilled Halo fans. Halo Infinite’s Head of Creative Joseph Staten and Multiplayer Associate Creative Director Tom French officially opened Halo Infinite’s multiplayer beta. You can watch it around the 2:29:00 mark in the video above.

 
 

How To Access The Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta

 

Xbox One/Xbox Series X

  • Go to the Xbox Store or the Microsoft Store and search for Halo Infinite.
  • Download the game.
  • Once download is complete, launch the game.
  • Click the “Multiplayer” option, and enjoy playing.
 

PC via Steam

  • Go to Steam and download Halo Infinite.
  • Launch the game once download is complete.
  • Select “Multiplayer” and enjoy your game.

PC via the Xbox PC App

  • Launch the Xbox PC App then search for Halo Infinite.
  • Download the game.
  • Launch the game and select the Multiplayer beta.
 

NOTE: Some players have reported encountering a blue screen when trying to access the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta. According to IGN, you simply need to restart your PC or your Xbox system. Once the device boots, you will be prompted to download an update which will then allow you to access th beta without any problems.

 

Halo Infinite Season One

  How To Access The Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta On Xbox And PC  

The Multiplayer Beta also includes the Season One Battle Pass which is purchased separately. The Battle Pass, called Heroes of Reach, includes more than 100 rewards that players can earn.

Academy features, the Battle Pass, and all progress from the Beta will carry over to the full game when it launches on December 8th.

Season One will run until May 2022, and will feature new in-game events, rewards, activities, and more. The first event is Fracture: Tenrai which will start next week, and includes a limited-time Event Pass, playlist, and Samurai-themed rewards.
