Halo 2 launches as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection
343 Industries recently announced that Halo 2: Anniversary will join Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Windows PC on May 12, 2020.
As promised the esteemed developer has been releasing each game in the collection at separate occasions throughout the year. Thus far, Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary has been released and there is no doubt players will be excited to acquire a third.
Some Halo Insider participants are already familiar with much of Halo 2: Anniversary’s content as it was available in public beta back in April. If all goes according to plan, the rest of the games in the Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be released before 2020 concludes. Once May 1 hits, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4 will be the only titles outstanding.
If you wish to acquire the Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC, there are two ways in which you can do so. You can get it by purchasing the Xbox Game Pass for PC or through the Master Chief Collection on the Microsoft Store and Steam. Also, note that you do not have to purchase the full collection at once; you can purchase each copy individually as they release.
Halo Infinite will be the newest installment in the Halo series and it will be released later this year along with the Xbox Series X.
