Gran Turismo 7: B-Spec Mode May Release After Launch
Gran Turismo 7 releases on 4 March, and PlayStation and Polyphony Digital have revealed that the game could still feature a B-Spec mode.

GRAN TURISMO 7: WHAT IS B-SPEC MODE?
Sony’s hyper-realistic racer, Gran Turismo 7, launches 4 March for PS4 and PS5, and earlier this month, they revealed Gran Turismo Sophy, a new AI.
Gran Turismo Sophy is a machine-powered AI developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Polyphony Digital, and Sony AI.
Sophy uses race car control, racing tactics, and racing etiquette to enforce competitive and fair races for players of all skill levels.
Sophy is capable of driving at the physical limit, considering the possibility and consequence of every high-speed action to ensure safe overtaking, successful turning through tight curves, and slipstream racing.
Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi says that Sophy will act as a teacher, student, and friend to increase the player’s racing skills.
Yamauchi states that Sophy could be used in a potential B-Spec Mode.
B-Spec is a mode in which the player performs management for an AI driver, and issues commands to the AI as to when it should overtake, pit in, and increase the pace.
B-Spec Mode is not a new addition to the franchise, as it has featured as far back as GT4, and it seems like it could still reach GT7.
